It feels good to give, filling our hearts with an indescribable joy, and giving has the amazing power to transform lives. This is how we feel about the City of Monte Vista's Kids Connection at the Bryning House.
Kids Connection is the only state licensed after school program for children 5 through 18 years of age in the entire San Luis Valley. We are fortunate to have it located in Monte Vista. It is a safe and affordable place to send your child or children after school while you are busy with work or other activities. Currently, we have 122 children enrolled and have 65 to 75 students attend regularly after school. These children receive a snack and get help with their homework. Many of these young children are happy-go-lucky and some are not as lucky. But our staff loves them all and are there to help, support, and/or provide a needed hug.
